How it resolves
Kalshi's rule, word for word(Each outcome is its own contract. This is the rule for the favourite, Before Oct 20, 2026; the others read the same way with their own outcome.) If Katie Zacharia's next White House press briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room is confirmed by any of the Source Agencies after Issuance and before Oct 20, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. This must be confirmed, verified, or established as factual by at least one Source Agency. News confirmation is defined as a published article, broadcast segment, or official news report by a Source Agency, that A) explicitly states Katie Zacharia's next White House press briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room occurred, is true, or has been verified, B) based on journalistic investigation, sources, or evidence, and C) presented as factual reporting rather than speculation, rumor, or unverified allegation. For this market, Katie Zacharia delivers a press briefing when she takes questions from or makes remarks to the press corps at an event held in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room. Remarks or questions elsewhere, including the North Lawn, the White House driveway, the Oval Office, a gaggle, or Air Force One, do not count, and neither does being present while another official briefs. Only a briefing that begins after Issuance counts. Briefings held before Issuance, including her first briefing, do not count.
