How it resolves
Kalshi's rule, word for word(Each outcome is its own contract. This is the rule for the favourite, Ben Rice: 2+; the others read the same way with their own outcome.) If Ben Rice records 2+ total bases in the Tampa Bay vs New York Y professional baseball game originally scheduled for Oct 7, 2026 at 8:00 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes. Player Participation & Settlement Criteria If Ben Rice is scratched or not included in the starting lineup, the market will resolve to the fair market price. If Ben Rice starts the game but does not record a plate appearance, the market will resolve to the fair market price. If Ben Rice is not in the starting lineup but later enters the game, the market will resolve to the fair market price, pinch hit at bats will not count towards the market. If Ben Rice is in the starting lineup and records at least one plate appearance the market will settle based on total bases recorded.
