How it resolves

Kalshi's rule, word for word
(Each outcome is its own contract. This is the rule for the favourite, Stevens / Thompson; the others read the same way with their own outcome.) If Stevens / Thompson wins the Stevens / Thompson vs Khan / McKenzie professional tennis match in the 2026 W35 Wagga Wagga Quarterfinal after a ball has been played, then the market resolves to Yes. The following market refers to the Stevens / Thompson vs Khan / McKenzie professional tennis match in the 2026 W35 Wagga Wagga Quarterfinal after a ball has been played. If the match does not occur (signaled by a ball being played) due to a player injury, walkover, forfeiture, or any other cancellation (all before the match starts), all markets will resolve to $0.50. If any player on either team does not participate in the match, even if a replacement plays and the match still takes place with some of the original players/teams, the event is considered a different match and all markets will be settled at $0.50. If a player/team withdraws or forfeits after a match has started, that team will resolve to No. If this match is postponed or delayed, the market will remain open and close after the rescheduled match has finished (within two weeks).
